Seedy Guy Updated
Some more seedy guys. Tried to incorporate the crazy eyes and manipulating hands. He also has a maniacal smile and eyebrows between happy and angry. I also think the creepy long thinned mustache helps as well as a hat of some sort. I threw in Mr. Burns from The Simpsons cause he has some seedy guy characteristics. The triangle shaped body seems to work best but the rounded triangle could also work. Still want to try triangle face and long face. Other characters I want to explore are Jafar from Aladdin and Hades from Hercules.

Work So Far
I've been sketching characters from movies and trying to understand they're features. I've published what I'm currently working on, but I still want to caricature them some more.
Seedy Guy
This is what I call a seedy-guy. This character is from the movie 'Memento.' He might be working a used card dealership where he would do anything to get a sale. I see him as obnoxious and overbearing. Maybe a loner? Maybe stingy and cheap?
- obstructs doorways / impedes the progress of the hero
- old out dated coat?... to make him appear bigger than he is
- maybe trench coat?
- hiding something underneath?
- has fake smile
- no squinting of eyes
- bushy / dirty mustache
- unkept clothing
- thinning hair / unattractive hair
- receding hairline?
- combover haha
Femme Fatale
This a character from the movie "Inception." I think of her as a siren or femme fatale.
- posh hair and clothes
- shapely body
- aggressive / powerful stance
- seductive outfits and makeup
- dark hair?
- dark eyes?
- thinking more mysterious
Thinker / Introvert
This guy I thought was definitely characterized as a thinker and introvert. He was a character from the movie "Brazil."
- Looking intently... Focused
- squinting
- Inspecting with his hands
- big hands in relation to what he is inspecting?
- large forehead / cranium to think with
- glasses to help see better
- wears uniform?.... lab coat
- pursed lips and furrowed brow... shows deep thinking
Care Free Guy
This is what I'm calling a care-free guy for now... He's based on Marty Mcfly from the "Back to The Future" movie. He exhibits many extrovert characteristics.
The care-free guy:
The care-free guy:
- boyish good looks
- clothes may be a bit unkep
- 'cool' clothes
- breezy hair
- a little dare-devil... Marty engaging in a dangerous stunt... skateboarding while being towed by a Jeep.
- mischievous smile and wave
- earlier he waves to a group of women exercising in a studio
- carries with / is using toys.... Marty is wearing headphones and a backpack.
Best Friend Archetype
This is drawing of a 'best friend' character based on an actor from the original "Karate Kid" movie. He is the new neighbor of the hero. The 'best friend' is:
- fatter and more portly than the hero character.
- less attractive than the hero character.
- maybe
- glasses
- unfashionable clothes
- has an unfashionable hair cut...
- maybe a cowlick?
- I would describe him as being a little "dumpy"
